5 of a family booked for forgery, grabbing land in Lakadganj

Five members of a family, including a woman, have been booked by Lakadganj police on the charges of forging documents and usurping two plots of land belonging to a father-son duo. The accused have also been charged with duping the Town Planning Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation with the help of the forged documents.

The accused Ashok Ramaji Zade, Geeta Ramaji Zade (mother), Vijay Ramaji Zade, Sunil Ramaji Zade and Anil Zade, all residents of Chhapru Nagar Square, Garoba Maidan, forged documents in the names of Dilip Thakurdas Muniyar (56) and his son, residents of Jeevandhara Building No. 1, behind Annapurna Restaurant, Ambedkar Square, and showed their two plots, admeasuring 7200 sq ft, as vacant. The accused also showed the said two plots as their car parking place and got sanctioned a building map from the Town Planning Department of NMC with the help of the forged documents. With this fraudulent act, the accused cheated the father-son duo as well as NMC.

Lakadganj API Nikam, on the basis of a complaint in this regard, booked the accused five members of the family under Sections 468, 420, 471, 34 of the IPC and launched a probe into the matter.
