Nagpur: Close on the heels of ghastly murders of two brothers in Jaripatka area that sparked unrest, four teenagers attacked two brothers with lethal weapons in Nandanvan area with the intention to kill them over a petty issue on Monday night. The four accused assaulters have reportedly been arrested.

The trouble started when one of the two brothers Piyush Divakar Kirpan (20) of Garoba Maidan near Bhajimandi objected to vulgar language being used by the four teenage accused while talking to his girlfriend. The reprimand apparently did not go well down with the four accused namely Aman Rajesh Jivne (19), Ashish Rampal Meshram (22), Abhiram Kale (19), all residents of Nandanvan Slums, and Umesh Puran Marai (19) of Ambe Nagar Railway Crossing, Bidgaon. They first attacked Piyush with bricks and caused serious head injuries. When Piyush’s brother Prashant tried to save him, he was assaulted with knife, sword on his stomach, chest and hands. The four teenage accused with their brutal attacks tried to kill both the brothers over the trivial issue.

Nandanvan PSI Sayam has booked the four accused under Sections 307, 324, 34 of IPC read with Sub-Section 4+25 of Arms Act and has reportedly arrested them.
