Nagpur: The 351st Coronation Day of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was celebrated with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour at Shivtirth, Mahal, in Nagpur on Thursday. The event, organised by the Shivrajyabhishek Sohala Samiti, drew hundreds of citizens who gathered to witness the grand festivities.
The celebrations featured an array of vibrant performances and displays that captivated the audience. Highlights included the energetic dhol-tasha pathak, skillful lathi and sword combat demonstrations, and a spectacular firecracker show. Participants showcased their prowess in the lezim dance, riveting lathi and sword fights, and various other martial arts, all performed to the rhythmic beats of dhol-tashas and the resounding calls of bugles.
In addition to these performances, the event featured an array of floats and palanquins, which added to the festive atmosphere. The huge firecracker show was a particular highlight, keeping the audience engaged and adding a dazzling finale to the celebrations.
