35 booked for creating ruckus in MSEDCL Katol Road office

Nagpur News: Sadar Police booked 35 persons for creating ruckus in Katol Road situated Superintending Engineer office (Rural) of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) on Friday. A delegation including Chndrashekhar Bawan, Rajesh Rangari and others met According to police, MSEDCL disconnected electricity due to non-payment of Agriculture Pump bill. The Superintending Engineer to discuss Agriculture pump bill, limited supply of electricity and reduce load-shedding hours. Disappointed over discussion, the delegation started creating ruckus in the office and caused a loss of Rs 69,000 of government property.

Sadar police booked the delegation members under Sections 143, 186, 427, and sub section 135 of the IPC. Police said that booked the delegation members broke chairs and other material at the Engineer’s office and caused harm to Government property. Further investigation is on
