Nagpur News: A 3-year old girl was kidnapped, most probably by her own mother, who resides separately.
According to police, the kid girl Prit, staying with her grandmother Jaya Harish Bahelani, (56), resident of Block No. 220, Main Road, opposite Sadhana Co-operative Bank Headquarters under Jaripatka Police Station, was playing in front of her house between 1330 and 1400 hours today (November 22). At the same time, a burkha-clad person lifted her and took away on a two-wheeler. The complainant Jaya Bahelani suspects the person, who lifted the 3-year old Prit and took her away, is none other than her mother who resides separately. The Jaripatka PSI Katlam, acting on the complaint by Jaya Bahelani, and in accordance with the Supreme Court order that if any kid under the age of 18 years goes missing, the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and is probing the matter further.
