3 teenagers arrested for robbing two lovers at knife point near Koradi

Nagpur: Three young boys robbed a lover couple at knife point and took away from them two mobile phones and cash. All the three accused robbers have been arrested.

The complainant Pravin Devidas Meshram (30), resident of Plot No. 30, Darshan Colony, Nandanvan, along with his girlfriend, was going towards Koradi around 2 pm on Wednesday. Midway, Pravin and his girlfriend stopped at a vacant place near Suradevi Mandir and were talking with each other.

At that time, the three accused youngsters Ashvin Shyamrao Dhone (18), Suraj Kanhayyalal Kamble (19) and Suraj Sanjay Waghmare (19), all residents of Khaparkheda, accosted the lover couple. The accused whipped out a knife and in a threatening posture asked Pravin and his girlfriend to hand over their mobile phones and cash. The three accused waylayers took away two mobile phones worth Rs 12,000 and cash of Rs 500 from the lovers.
