3 Railway Stations in Nagpur Division go cashless

Nagpur: Giving a fillip to digital India push, three stations of Nagpur Division of Central Railway have started cashless transactions. Nagpur Station has been equipped with 53 Point of Sale (POS) and PayTM machines, Wardha Station 13 and Ballarshaha has 17 POS and PayTM machines for cashless transactions. Passengers can now do transactions through Debit/Credit/ cards as well as PayTM.

The breakup of 38 POS machines set up at at Nagpur Station include 11 at unreserved ticket counters, 13 at reserved ticket counters, 6 at parcel office, and one each at luggage and cloak room, waiting hall, book stall, and 5 at canteens and snack stalls. The PayTM facility is available at 15 places including A H Wheeler Book Stall, various snack and fruit stalls, two/four wheeler parking stands at East and West side of station.

At Wardha Station, 8 POS machines have been installed at unreserved ticket counters, reserved ticket counters, waiting hall and book stall. The PayTM facility is available at five places including snack and fruit stalls, Sarvodaya Book Stall and at parking stand.

At Ballarshah Station 9 POS machines have been set up at unreserved ticket counters, reserved ticket counters, luggage and cloak room, waiting hall and snack stall. The PayTM facility is available at 8 places including book stall, various snack and fruit stalls and two/four wheeler parking stand.
