Nagpur: Three persons were killed and three others were injured in separate road accidents in Nagpur Rural.
In the first incident, Vicky Shankar Bhadang (27), resident of Binasangam, was riding a Bajaj Pulsar bike (MH-40/W 1758) around 5.45 pm on Wednesday. Near Sindurkar Poultry Farm at Binasangam Shivar, 5 km away from Khaparkheda, he hit another Pulsar bike (MH-40/PD 0376). The forceful impact resulted in injuries to Vicky himself and two riders of other bike Amit Nikhade and Kunal Bhadang. However, Vicky succumbed to his fatal injuries on the spot.
Khaparkheda PSI Gitesh Kanpure booked the deceased accused Vicky Bhadang under Sections 279, 337, 304(A) of the IPC. Further probe is underway.
In a hit-and-run incident, an unidentified vehicle knocked an Activa (MH-40/AZ 0544) near Ringnabodi village, 7 km away from Kondhali at 3.30 pm on Wednesday. The collision led to critical injuries to Activa rider Manoj Dashrath Chavan (30), resident of Khapa Tanda. He died on the spot.
Kondhali ASI Parasram Thakre booked the driver of unidentified vehicle under Sections 279, 304(A) of IPC and searching him.
In the third incident, around 10.30 pm on Tuesday, Ravi Ramu Sahare (28), resident of Nagpur, and his friend Kishore Bhagwan Neware (42) also of Nagpur, were riding a motorbike (MH-31/E 7394) double seat. As they reached at Khapa Bypass Railway Crossing, their speeding bike jumped from Railway Crossing speed-breaker. As a result, Ravi lost control over his bike and it crashed onto railway line grill with an impact. Ravi died on the spot due to grievous injuries while his friend received minor injuries.
Saoner PSI Rajesh Pise has registered a case under sections 279, 304(A) of IPC. Further probe is underway.
