Jamsanwali (Chhindwara): More than 300,000 devotees are expected to visit the Shri Hanuman Temple (Hanuman Lok) at Jamsanwali during the two-day Guru Purnima Festival scheduled for July 28 and 29. In anticipation of the large turnout, the temple trust and district administration have jointly prepared an extensive management plan.
A review meeting chaired by Collector Neeraj Kumar Vashishtha and Superintendent of Police Prakash Chandra Parihar focused on security, crowd management, darshan arrangements, healthcare services, sanitation, drinking water, parking, traffic control, community meals, emergency response, and other essential facilities. Responsibilities were assigned to officials and temple trust representatives.

Temple Trust President Gopal Sharma said special arrangements have been made to ensure smooth and hassle-free darshan for devotees. Additional security personnel will be deployed, with particular emphasis on queue management, sanctum access, cleanliness, and drinking water facilities.
As part of the celebrations, a devotional music and bhajan evening featuring a renowned singer will be held on July 28. On July 29, the main Guru Purnima celebrations will include a special abhishek (ritual bathing), पूजा (worship), maha aarti, and a community feast (bhandara).
To assist pilgrims arriving by train, the temple trust will provide free transportation between Sausar Railway Station and Jamsanwali Dham. The trust has appealed to devotees to cooperate with the administration and volunteers to ensure the festival is conducted in a safe, orderly, and spiritually enriching atmosphere.
