Nagpur: In another barbaric incident, a 29-year-old youth was killed by smashing his head with a stone.
According to sources, the deceased is identified as Manoj Huddar aged 29 years and resident of Sawarbandhe Layout area. The murder is said to have occurred in Saubhagya Nagar falling in the jurisdiction of Hudkeshwar Police Station.
While the reason behind this murder could not ascertained so far, the cops of Hudkeshwar Police Station who are investigating this case said that prima-facie this murder appears to have been committed by some accused who after consuming alcohol must have got into a verbal duel with the deceased. This verbal duel could have turned ugly and the accused must have smashed the head of the deceased with a stone and killed him.
The cops of the Hudkeshwar Police Station have narrowed down some suspects and are on the lookout for them.
Meanwhile, a Forensic team reached the spot and carried out their investigation. The team collected blood, earth and other samples for analysis. They also photographed the spot in their investigation.
