हिंगना में रहस्यमयी मौत! 28 दिन बाद खेत में मिला लापता महिला का शव

Nagpur: A 28-day-old missing-person case has taken a disturbing turn with the discovery of a severely decomposed body of a woman in an agricultural field at Deoli village in Hingna, raising suspicions of a possible murder. The condition of the remains was so advanced that even family members could not identify the deceased by facial features. Police suspect that the body could be that of Bali alias Meena Ranveer Telang, who went missing on October 6.

The discovery has opened a fresh and unsettling chapter in the investigation, with police now relying on DNA profiling to establish the woman’s identity and determine the circumstances surrounding her death.

According to police, Meena had mysteriously disappeared from her home on the night of October 6. Reports suggest that she and her husband, Ranveer, had an argument that evening over her conversation with another person. Following the disagreement, her husband reportedly sat in the hall while Meena went into the kitchen to prepare food.

However, when he later went to the kitchen, she was nowhere to be found. Despite an extensive search, the family failed to trace her. A missing-person complaint was subsequently lodged at Hingna police station on October 7, following which police registered a kidnapping case and began an investigation.

The case remained unresolved for nearly four weeks until the decomposed body was spotted in an agricultural field in Deoli Shivar. The discovery triggered panic in the surrounding area and prompted an immediate police response.

DCP Zone-I Rishikesh Reddy and Inspector Pramod Ghonghe rushed to the spot along with a police team and initiated the investigation. However, the severely decomposed condition of the body made visual identification virtually impossible.

Police have now decided to collect blood samples from Meena’s parents and conduct DNA profiling to establish whether the remains belong to the missing woman.

An accidental death report has been registered, and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination. DCP Rishikesh Reddy stated that the identity of the deceased would be confirmed only after the DNA examination report is received.

If the DNA test confirms that the remains are those of Meena, investigators will face crucial questions: Where was she during the 28 days after her disappearance? What led to her death? Was foul play involved, and if so, who was responsible?

For now, the police are awaiting the DNA and post-mortem reports. The findings are expected to provide vital clues in unravelling the mystery behind the woman’s disappearance and death.
