Nagpur: A 25-year-old man was allegedly killed by being attacked with a sharp weapon in a lane near the MLA hostel, within the jurisdiction of Sitabuldi police station, after midnight on Monday. The incident has caused a stir in the area.
The deceased has been identified as Akash Suresh Nevरे (25), a resident of Telangkhedi under Ambazari police station limits. Preliminary information suggests the killing took place after 12.30 a.m.
After receiving information about the incident, a team from the Sitabuldi police station immediately reached the spot. A Crime Branch team also arrived later. Police inspected the area and began an investigation.
