Nagpur: In an audacious act, two teenage boys snatched gold chain of a woman at the gate of her house itself in Ajni area here on Friday night. Cops have mounted a hunt to nab the two accused.
A resident of Plot No. D30, Shrinath Sai Nagar, Onkar Nagar, behind Water Tank, the woman, who has not been identified, was returning home after having a walk on the road in front of her house around 8 pm on Friday.
As she reached at the gate of her house, the two accused aged between 15 and 18, came from behind and snatched gold chain worth Rs 18,000 she was wearing. Even before she could raise an alarm, the two teenage chain-snatchers fled the spot.
Ajni PSI V Ingle has registered a case under Sections 392, 34 of the IPC and launched a hunt to nab the accused.
