2 friends hurt as motorcycle hits power pole

Nagpur News: Two youths were seriously injured when the motorcycle they were riding in dashed against an electric pole.

According to police, the youths Sumedh Dongre (21), resident of Vaishali Nagar and his friend Amol Ashok Khaparde (23), resident of Pachpaoli, were returing home after attending a birthday party on their Avenger motorcycle (MH-49/7240). When they reached near IBM Road, Sadar, their motorcycle hit a electric pole and both were hurled and crashed into the road receiving serious injuries. They were rushed to Suretech Hospital in Dhantoli. Sadar police have booked an offence.
