The brawl started when the son of Maniram Shukla was taking out his car for filling petrol around 8.45 pm on Wednesday (December 3). The accused Prajakta Bhongade, without any reason, started abusing the son of Maniram who was taking out his car. However, the petty looking incident soon took an ugly turn when the group of eight accused went on rampage and indulged in violence. In his counter complaint, the accused complainant said that when he along with his niece went to the house of Maniram Shukla for asking why he (Maniram) abused the girl, suddenly Maniram’s minor son indulged in hot exchange of words. Later, Maniram himself, his minor son, wife Anupama and another unidentified youth assaulted him and his niece and also resorted to vulgar actions and thus molested the 19-year old girl.
