Nagpur: In a curious incident, a 17-year old girl went missing. Later she phoned her brother and informed him she was being kidnapped by an unidentified person. The incident took place in Pardi police jurisdiction on Tuesday afternoon. Cops have mounted a search to trace the girl and the kidnapper as well.
The 17-year old girl left home around 1.30 pm on Tuesday on the pretext of purchasing a practical book. However, she did not return home, triggering a frantic search for her by relatives.
In the meanwhile, the girl phoned her brother and informed him she was being taken away by an unidentified person. The accused phone holder lured her and abducted her.
Pardi police constable Shailesh, based on a complaint lodged by relatives, registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC. Cops have mounted a search to trace the girl and the kidnapper as well.
