Nagpur News- After a minute of conversation with her boyfriend, a 17-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself in Nandanvan area on Monday evening. The fellow lover had ignored her suicide warning and kept on sending SMS to her till midnight.
Puja Pachghare was a twelfth standard commerce student of Kamla Nehru College. Though Puja didn’t left any suicide note, her SMS details and call records shows that she was depressed of the ongoing dispute with her lover that dragged her to end life. Her family informed that just two months before her younger brother died in road accident while he was searching for Puja who had runaway from home with the lover.
“The boy has used abusive language against the girl in one of the SMS sent by him at around 7.15 pm. The call details record shows that the girl had last spoken to him around 8.40 with the boy for a minute and later took the extreme step in anger,” told a relative. Puja’s parents had been to a relative’s place.
The deceased’s father Sunil, who owns a Chinese food stall, said that he had handed over the cell phone to Nandanvan police and has appealed to file a case of abetment against the boy. However, police has initially registered a case of an accidental death. Police said that they are still going through the cell phone details of the victim and will later register a case.
Relatives informed that from past one year, Puja was having a love affair with the boy. Two months before, the couple had fled from home but was later traced by police.
“Around ten days before, the boy’s parents had warned Puja to end her relation with their son. Still, the boy forced her and continued talking to her. The SMSes shows that they were having dispute from past two days,” said a relative.
