Gadkari while giving example of research, said, “During recent meeting with ISRO scientist, I came to know that running vehicle on road would be economical using Lithium Ion battery which is used in space. I ordered research on this topic which turned out to be successfull. In coming days, buses running on these batteries will be introduced. On experimental basis, such two pollution free buses will be given to Parliament House.” Gadkari further said, “Scientists accepted that it was never thought that this technology could be used to make surface transport economical. This was possible due to research work.”

Member of Parliament Ajay Sancheti said, “I know Dr Madan Kapre since last 30 years. Dr Kapre has been inspiring other doctors through medium of his works since many years. Due to changes in lifestyle, cancer disease is spreading rapidly. Work of organisations like FNHO is very commendable. Very soon, 500-bed hospital of National Cancer Institute is being constructed and work of which has already began.”
