Nagpur News: NMC Commissioner Shyam Wardhane inspected the ongoing cement concrete work of road between Bajaj Nagar Square and Shankar Nagar Square. NMC has undertaken development of the 610-metre road with cement concrete out of which 100-metre work from Bajaj Nagar Square end has been completed. Remaining work is going on schedule, a press release issued by NMC said.
The Commissioner Wardhane along with other officials inspected the cement concreting work and reviewed the progress by visiting the construction site at 9.00 in the night on Wednesday. The construction work is being carried in the night in order to maintain temperature of concrete in Nagpur summer and achieve quality and standards of a good cement road. After inspection, Wardhane directed the concerned authorities to complete the work on time and also maintain high quality.
Those who accompanied Wardhane include Executive Engineer (Project) M G Kukreja, Deputy Engineer Vasudeo Gadre, Branch Engineer Sanjay Mate, M/s Unity Infrastructure’s Project Manager Ambadas Deshmukh, and other concerned officials.
