Man booked for selling groom’s presents

Nagpur News: Hudkeshwar police on Saturday booked a man on the charges of cheating by way of selling costly presents received by a bridegroom worth Rs 2 lakh.

According to police, the complainant Rajesh Sitaram Gaur’s son Rupesh had got married recently and had received a large number of costly presents including mane households. But since his house, situated behind Hotel Midland, Fish Market, Bhoipura, had no enough space, Rajesh Gaur kept the presents in the house of accused Narayan Khobragade at Bungalow No. G-11, Sai Shraddha Park Layout, Nagpur. However, the accused Narayan Khobragade, on the excuse of selling the house, procured keys of the room and sold the costly households over a period from July 2013 till today. The accused put Rajesh Gaur at a loss of Rs 2 lakh.

Hudkeshwar PSI Jaiswal, acting on a complaint lodged by Rajesh Gaur, has booked Narayan Khobragade under Section 406 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
