Nagpur: Some unscrupulous elements will go to any end to make a fast buck. While some come up with ponzi schemes, others use the vulnerability of the victims to fleece money from them. In a startling information that has come to fore, The Youth Wing of certain regional political party is all set to target hotels where parties are organized to celebrate December 31, 2015.

This party is known to barge into places where Valentine Day’s parties or Pool parties are organized just to cause commotion and frighten the organizers. The organizers often shell out a sizeable sum to avoid unnecessary hassles.
The regional political party has made a list of all those premises where parties are organized in small scale for the youth of the area. Since these hotels have liquor permits, they also serve liquor to all their patrons. However, the organizers often do not ensure that minors do not enter into the premises. Often they can’t ascertain the age of the patrons. With the changing times and emancipation of girls and women, they too have started enjoying smoking and drinking which is entirely their personal choice.

Using this as a pretext, the unscrupulous elements of political parties target these places and fleece large sums of money. These elements claim that such behaviour where a girl drinks or smokes does not sit well with our rich traditions and culture.

They claim that the organizers are encouraging and promoting this Western culture in our city.

The regional political party was seen busy in calling up the owners of all hotels and such places where parties are organized to demand a sizeable amount to avoid unnecessary hassles and commotion. Their words in verbatim was “Aap agar bolenge toh party key adhikariyon sey bath karke apka naam hata dengey” (meaning if you agree to shell out the sum we demand, we will talk to the party leaders and get your name removed from the list) In other words, these members of the youth wing of the regional political party were blackmailing the organizers to shell out money to avoid hassles.
