Youth stabbed after putting up fight with robbers

Nagpur News : Youth was robbed and later brutally beaten by two robbers for putting up a fight with the them. The youth is undergoing treatment while cops booked the goons.

According to information, Shailesh Sheshrao Choudhary (27), a native of Bhandara who lived in a rented house at Chandu Gomase at Naka No. 2, Kamptee Road, Raza Town, had gone to Ganesh Tekdi Mandir on Friday evening. While coming back after ‘darshan’, two unidentified youths stopped him near Shiv Mandir, near Railway flyover and demanded his money and valuables.  They snatched away his money Rs 740 cash and tried to snatch away his mobile phone. But Shailesh put up a fight with the goons. They attacked him with sharp-edged knife and stabbed his stomach and chest.

Commuters informed Sitabuldi police about the incidence and later rushed Shailesh to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Cops booked the goons and registered an offence under Sections 394 and 34 of the IPC.
