Nagpur: A rowdy youth outraged modesty of a woman right in the middle of a busy road and also threatened to kill her if refused to marry with him. The accused has been booked but not arrested so far.
The 26-year old girl told Sakkardara police that she was going to meet her friend around 4.45 pm on Tuesday. She went to hire an auto near Sanjuba School, Uday Nagar. As she was waiting for auto, the accused Shubham Shende (25), resident of Hanuman Nagar, came at the spot and caught hold of her hand in an indecent manner and also abused her. The accused threatened to kill her if she refused to marry with him. Taken aback by the outrageous acts of the accused Shubham, the girl straightaway approached Sakkardara police and registered a case against him.
PSI M B Orke has booked the accused Shubham Shende under Sections 354(D), 323, 504, 506 of the IPC and searching for him.
In another incident, two youngsters entered house of a 16-year old girl and indulged in obscene acts with her. The three accused named Nihal, Abhishek Deshbhratar and a friend of Abhishek first procured the mobile phone number of the girl, a resident of Nandanvan area. Later, on Monday around 7.30 pm, two of the accused Abhishek and his friend went to the girl’s house when she was probably alone. The two accused indulged in vulgar acts and thus molested the girl.
Nandanvan Assistant PSI P B Malkapure, based on the complaint of the girl, booked the accused under Sections 354, 452, 354(D), 323, 34 of the IPC. No arrests have so far been made.
