Nagpur: A criminal mind learnt the trick of breaking ATM to steal cash off the machine, from a You Tube, and tried to apply it on of the city ATMs. But never did he know that his plan would be foiled in the first place itself. Now the man has been nabbed by Lakadganj police station.

Laxman Jaisinghpure, 24, had made three failed attempts to break into ATMs at Wardhaman Nagar, Lakadganj and Vaishali Nagar before being nabbed by Lakadganj police’s team of PI Santosh Khandekar and PSI PG Gadekar. Meanwhile, Local Crime branch (LCB) team of PI Sanjay Purandhare under SP Rakesh Ola have busted an interstate gang of ATM breakers arresting five persons. The gang is learnt to have admitted to breaking into four ATMs in towns like Beltur, Kuhi and two other places in Nagpur district and another one in Madhya Pradesh. The gang, whose two more members including the mastermind are yet to be nabbed, has confessed to having broken into ATM in Chhattisgarh too.
PI Purandhare and his team has recovered three cars used for the visiting different places to find out ATMs at desolate places and also cash Rs 4.56 lakh stolen from ATMs. In this case too, LCB managed to detect the case with the help of CCTV footage that had captured the car of one of the accused in the case.
