Nagpur: A youth was killed and his two friends were injured seriously as the motorcycle they were riding in was hit by an unidentified four-wheeler under Koradi police limits in the wee hours of Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Adarsh Gurucharan Nirmalkar (18), resident of Srivas Nagar, Mahadula, Koradi. The injured are Ravindra Dhanraj Pusram (18) and Pawan Bhayyaji Jamgade (18), both residents of the same locality.
According to police, the three friends were returning home triple seat on a motorcycle (MH-40/SW 0211) after catering work. Midway, an unidentified four-wheeler rammed their bike with forceful impact. The three friends, as a result, suffered critical injuries. They were rushed to Alexis Hospital in Mankapur. Adarsh Nirmalkar, who was driving the bike, succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Koradi PSI Baghel, based on the complaint of Pusram, booked the unidentified driver of the four-wheeler under Sections 304(A), 279, 337 of the IPC read with Sections 134, 177 of Motor Vehicles Act and searching for him.
