Nagpur: In a filmy style act, a 25-year old youth kidnapped a minor girl right in front her parents when they bluntly refused to marry their daughter with the accused.
The accused Gelu Solanke (25) on Thursday(June 2) noon barged into the girl’s house in Sonegaon and told her parents that he wants to marry with their 15-year old daughter. Taken aback by the unacceptable demand, the 45-year old mother of the girl retorted and said that he cannot marry with the girl since she is minor.
Enraged by the reprimand, the accused Gelu Solanke, in a pitched voice, said that he wants to marry the girl at any cost and threatened her parents to do whatever they want to do. With these words, the accused Gelu Solanke caught hold of the 15-year old girl and forcibly to her with him. Shocked by the act of the accused, the mother of the girl approached Sonegaon police and registered a case against him.
Woman PSI Chaudhary, acting on the complaint, has booked the accused Gelu Solanke under Sections 363, 366 of IPC and launched a search to trace the girl as well as the accused abductor.
