Youth dies as his motorcycle hit by speeding four-wheeler in Ambazari

Nagpur: In a hit-and-run case, a 27-year old youth was killed on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding in was hit by a speeding four-wheeler near Maratha Lawns in Ambazari area. The mishap occurred on Thursday night. The unidentified driver of the killer vehicle has been booked and being searched.

The deceased Kaushik Rakesh Tiwari (27), resident of Flat No. M/3, Maa Uma Society, was returning home on his motorcycle around 7 pm on Thursday. As he neared bypass road in front of Maratha Lawns, a rashly driven four-wheeler hit Kaushik’s motorcycle with forceful impact.

As a result, Kaushik crashed on the road and suffered critical injuries. He died on the spot even though he was rushed to GMCH where doctors confirmed Kaushik’s death. A complaint in this regard was filed by Raj Kaliprasad Tiwari (52) with Ambazari Police Station.

The Lady PSI Waghmare registered a case under Sections 279, 304(A) of IPC read with Sub-Sections 134, 177 of Motor Vehicles Act against the unidentified driver of the four-wheeler and mounted a search to apprehend him.
