Youth Congress protests RSS chief while BJYM against Mani Shankar Aiyar

Nagpur: Wednesday proved to be a day of brickbats in the Mahal area as the two political parties, the Youth Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) were demonstrating. Youth Congress against the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) Chief and the BJYM against former Congress leader Mani Shanakar Aiyar for expressing his love for Pakistan. The Youth Congress workers raising slogans against Sangh Chief and BJP were proceeding towards the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh headquarter under the leadership of Nagpur Youth Congress President Bunty Shelke were stopped by the police. The Youth Congress were denied permission for demonstrations despite this they were marching towards the heradquarter. The demonstrators were arrested. Just half a kms away from this place the BJYM workers under the leadership of BJYM President Shivani Dani were demonstrating against Mani Shankar Aiyar’s comment, “I am getting more love in Pakistan , I get a lot more hatred in India”

Youth Congress hold demonstartions at Samvidhan Chowk

The Youth Congress held demonstrations on Wednesday at Samvidhan Chowk to protest against the RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat for comment on the army. The comment was said to be an insult to Indian Army. The Youth Congress workers took out a funeral to express their protest and some workers even tonsured their heads. Amidst the slogans and commotion the police arrested the youth workers.

RSS Chief had recently said, the Indian Army soldier takes six months to get prepared where as the Sangh worker can be ready like a soldier within three days. There were protest all over the country and the Sangh had to clarify itself but despite this the matter did not cool down. According to Youth Congress, the BJP and RSS leaders purposely make such comments to divert the nation’s attention from the real problems. Youth Congress said that to divert the attention from the comment that Prime Minister had made and suggested that the youths should sell Pakoras.

Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress incharge Pratibha Raghuvanshi has demanded that the RSS chief should say sorry over his comment on Army.
