Nagpur: Activists of Nagpur Loksabha Youth Congress, led by its President Bunty Shelke, on Tuesday staged agitation at City Survey Office in Civil Lines to highlight problems being faced by common people who visit the office for their works. The activists burst into the office and shouted slogans and held demonstrations.
Speaking at the protest demonstration, Bunty Shelke said that the Youth Congress had organized complaints redressal camp at City Survey Office premises in an apparent challenge to Chief Minister’s ‘Samadhan Shibir.’
During the camp, the Youth Congress received around 67 complaints from people. These complaints along with a memorandum were submitted to then City Survey Officer Suryakant Morey for speedy action. But till to date the complaints were not resolved. Hence demonstrations were staged today to highlight the messy affairs of City Survey Office, said Shelke and warned that faces of employees working in the office will be blackened if the dismal affairs continue in future.
Others who participated in the agitation include Neeraj Lonare, Mahesh Balpande, Alok Kondapurwar, Fazlur Rehman Qureshi, Nilesh Deshbhratar, Aslam Raza, Akhilesh Rajan, Sandeep Yadav, Vishal Waghmare, Akshay Dorlikar and other activists in large number.
