Nagpur News: Jaripatka police booked a 26-year-old youth for stealing cash and SBI ATM card from a woman under the jurisdiction of Jaripatka police station. According to police, the accused Shrikant Baburao Shende (26), entered the house of Jaya Baburao Shende (28), a resident of Ramakant Road, Math Mohalla, near Sharada Book Depot, Indora, and stole Rs 30,000 cash and SBI ATM from her purse.
The accused withdrew cash from various ATM machines to the tune of Rs 1.20 lakhs from her account between September 24 to 29.
On the complaint of the victim Jaya Shende, Jaripatka police booked Shrikant Shende and registered an offence under Sections 379 of the IPC. Further investigations are under way.
