Nagpur News : Jaripatka police booked a youth for allegedly molesting a girl on the intervening night ofThursday and Friday. The accused has been identified as Vishal Durgaprasad Maate (26), a resident of Angulimal Nagar, Patankar Square.
The accused invited the victim for a dance function which was supposed to start on Thursday. When the girl reached the venue, she was shocked to discover that there was no dance programme. When she demanded an answer from Vishal, he said that he wanted to speak to her and thus he faked a dance programme. The accused then tried to get close to the girl and molested her with his indecent behaviour.
On the basis of the complaint, Jaripatka police booked the accused and registered an offence under Sections 354 (a) of the IPC.
