Nagpur News: Kalamna police arrested a youth for trying to outrage the modesty of a woman on Thursday. Sources said, the young woman was busy collecting water from the borewell near her residence. Accused Ravi Shriramdas Gupta (28), a residence of Plot No. 3, Laxmi Nagar, went to her house and sat on her bed in a compromising position.
When the young woman reached her house, she saw Ravi and started to scream. Soon, her brother-in-law and other residents of the colony gathered and took hold of Ravi. On the complaint of the woman, Kalamna Police arrested Ravi and registered an offence under Section 448, 354 (a)(i)(v) of the IPC, informed PI Chavan. Further investigations are under way.
