Nagpur news: Yes its true ,thanks to NMC approach toward the maintenance of city on Saturday, Monali Raipure, 26 year-old MTech student lost her life by a suddenly applying her vehicle’s break to avoid a pothole. This accident took place in front of Ladies Club Lawn, Civil Lines. Monali collided with the divider sustained head injuries causing her death. Her friend Hina Bhatia (25) had a narrow escape. Monali’s parents are very disturbed by this sudden death of their daughter. This accident took place at night when the girls were returning from their friend’s pre-wedding function.
There are similar potholes in different locations such as infront of commissioner of police’s house, civil lines;in front of sadar police station, and many more, which are almost invisible as the sunsets. In future there are chances of many more such accidents taking places. NMC is yet to wake up .
