Young man killed in bike mishap in Jaripatka

Nagpur: A young man was killed and two others were injured when the motorcycle they were riding in met with a mishap in Jaripatka area here on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Moreshwar Sheshrao Meshram (31). The injured are Ajay Devraj Bhure (28) and Vikrant Sidharth Mogre (32). All the three were residents of Ambedkar Ward, Bhandara. Moreshwar, Ajay and Vikrant had come to Nagpur on Sunday triple seat on Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle (MH-36/S 3367). The trio was distributing ‘Namkaran’ (naming ceremony) invitation cards. Around 11.30 am, after visiting their friend Amit Nansagawli in Jaripatka, the three were returning to Bhandara. Midway, from Kapil Nagar to Kamgar Nagar, Vikrant Mogre, who was probably riding the bike rashly, lost control as the bike got tossed up at a speed-breaker. As a result, Ajay and Moreshwar crashed on the road with forceful impact. Moreshwar received head injuries and was taken to Mayo Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. He probably died on the spot.

Jaripatka Woman PSI V N Kannake, on the basis of a complaint lodged by Ajay Bhure, booked Vikrant Mogre under Section 304(A) of the IPC read with Sub-sections 128, 177, 3/181 of Motor Vehicles Act and arrested him.
