Nagpur: Two persons lost their lives when they fell off the buildings they were working on in separate incidents in Sitabuldi and MIDC areas here on Monday.
In the first incident, the deceased Pavankumar Ramnivas Tiwari (26), resident of Balaji Nagar Extension, Ajni, was fixing glass panes on the windows at the seventh floor of NIT Parking Plaza Building in Sitabuldi around 1.30 pm on Monday. Suddenly, Pavankumar lost balance and came crashing down. He fell on the third floor of the building and received grievous injuries. He was rushed to Lata Mangeshkar Hospital but doctors there pronounced him ‘brought dead.’ The deceased Pavankumar originally hailed from Hariya District in Uttar Pradesh.
Sitabuldi WPSI Shende has registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.
Similarly, a 45-year old man Milan Dheeraj Waghmare of Isasani, Panchasheel Nagar, was working at Sumangal Vihar Moreshwar Building in Isasani at about 11.30 am on Monday. Suddenly, Milan lost balance and fell on the ground. He was immediately taken to Lata Mangeshkar Hospital but was declared dead by the doctors.
MIDC PSI Ramteke is investigating the matter futher aftyer registering a case of accidental death.
