NAGPUR: A 32-year-old young man ended his life by jumping in the Ambazari lake. Identified as Shailendra Shankar Ivanate, the deceased was a painter by profession and was missing since the night on July 12. His body was found floating on the morning of July 13.
On getting information from morning-walkers, police swung into action and brought out the body with the help of divers. The body was later sent for post-mortem and all police stations were informed about the incident.
At Dhantoli police station, the relatives of Shailendra had filed a missing person’s report. Based on this, his relatives were called for identification of the body. The reason as why Shailendra took the drastic step was unknown.
