Nagpur: A 32-year old man lost life in a freak mishap while working in his friend’s fabrication shop in Hudkeshwar area on Wednesday evening.
A resident of Plot No. 11/12, Sumit Nagar, Hudkeshwar, the deceased has been identified as Vilas Suresh Thakre (32). On Wednesday around 5 pm, Vilas went to his friend’s shop named Rupesh Aluminium, Uday Nagar. Vilas was cutting angle by a grinding machine. Suddenly, the grinding machine slipped from his hands and inflicted a deep injury on left hand palm. A profusely bleeding Vilas was first taken to nearby Shrikrupa Hospital and later to Gillurkar Hospital. However, he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital as his condition took a serious turn. When taken to GMCH, doctors there pronounced Vilas dead on admission.
Hudkeshwar ASI Anand Raut, based on information, registered a case of accidental death and started in-depth probe into the matter.
