Nagpur: In an atrocious incident, a 35-year old man abducted a 19-year old girl, took her to a secluded place on his motorcycle and raped her. Shockingly, a youth initially resisted the man’s attempt but shamelessly abetted the crime by taking Rs 100 and a mobile phone from the accused rapist and kept quiet. The incident took place between Mahatma Gandhi School and Suradevi village in the intervening night of October 15 and 16.
The accused Nitin Uike (35), resident of Jaripatka area abducted the 19-year old girl of the same area between 9.30 pm of Saturday and 0030 hours of Sunday near Mahatma Gandhi School with nasty designs in his mind. The accused Nitin forced the girl to seat on his motorcycle, took her to a secluded place near Suradevi Village and raped her. However, the shocking part of this sordid episode is that a 25-year old man named Chadhya initially resisted the accused Nitin’s audacious act but abetted the crime by shamelessly taking Rs 100 and a mobile from him. Instead of informing the girl’s parents, the accused Chadhya allowed Nitin to commit the heinous crime. The accused Nitin Uike, after raping the girl, threatened to kill her if she narrated the incident to her parents. But the girl gathered the courage and reported the matter to Jaripatka police.
Acting the girl’s complaint, PSI Dongre has booked both the accused Nitin Uike and Chadhya under Sections 363, 366, 376, 109, 506 of the IPC and searching them.
