Nagpur: A 26-year old boy stabbed his own elder brother to death over a domestic matter. The accused has been arrested.
Accused Jitu Kamal Mahto
The trouble erupted when the victim Golu alias Ganesh Kamal Mahto, an alleged habitual drunkard, and resident of Plot No. 40, Shantinagar was returning home around 8.30 pm on Wednesday. Golu used to come home under influence of liquor and create ruckus. Fed up with the almost daily ordeal, the accused Jitu Kamal Mahto (26) tried to stop Golu from entering his house. The situation turned bloody when accused Jitu whipped out a knife and stabbed Golu on his stomach. A profusely bleeding Golu was rushed to Mayo Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment on Thursday morning.
Based on a complaint filed by Ajit Kamal Mahto (28), Lakadganj PSI H F Thorat booked the accused Jitu Mahto under Section 302 of IPC and placed him under arrest.
