Yet another girl molested in Gittikhadan as eve teasing reaches new high in Nagpur

Nagpur News : The police records suggest rise in the menace of eve-teasers and road-side hooligans in Nagpur. On Wednesday, another case was registered by Gittikhadan police where two unidentified youths have been booked under molestation charges.

A 24-year-old girl was heading towards home after completing her duty on Wednesday night at around 9.15 pm, the police said. Some mobike-borne miscreants came from rear on their motorcycle (MH 31 EJ 2541) between Police Talao Road and CID Office and started stalking her. The accused then offered to drop her home in a very indecent manner and started hurling profanities at her. The accused then tried t grab her hand and left after teasing her some more. The girl later approached Gittikhadan police and lodged a complaint against the unidentified youths.
Cops have registered an offence under Sections 354 (3) and 34 of the IPC and started their search for the road-side rowdies.
