Work of Air India’s MRO in Mihan-SEZ starts with DGCA issues commercial license

Nagpur: After the trial of newly constructed taxiway, actual work of Air India’s MRO in Mihan-SEZ has begun. The longest and biggest aircraft of Air India- Boeing 777 landed at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport five days ago for maintenance has taken off on Tuesday.

Director general of civil aviation (DGCA) issued commercial license to MRO on May 20. This information was given by deputy general manager of Air India Engineering Services Ltd. Sunil Arora while interacting with media.

The maintenance work of Boeing will prove to be vital in future. After the successful maintenance, there are reports that the repair work and maintenance of aircraft will be regularized in the city.
