Nagpur: A woman was killed when a recklessly driven military van hit the moped on which she was pillion riding.
According to police report, one Sonu Ravi Pradhan, 29 resident of near Silewada English School, Khaperkheda was taking her mother Asha Ishwar Wankhede, 47, resident of Navin Bhanegaon, Khaperkheda on her moped MH/40/AP/1904 when a speeding military van 15/D/198144 coming from behind from Kamptee road hit the moped in Juni Kamptee police station area, sonu’s mother fell down and died due to severe injuries while she received minor injuries. On complaint from Sonu Police Constable Samadhan registered an offence under 279, 337, 304 (A) of IPC.
