Nagpur: The ancient ways of hiding gold ornaments underground proved costly for an elderly woman as the gold booty was stolen by a prying criminal between 8 pm of Friday and 7 am of Sunday. Cops are searching for the inquisitive burglar.

The 62-year old woman, Asha Ramkrushna Kurwade, resident of Plot No. 162, Uday Nagar in Hudkeshwar area, for reasons known to her only, kept her gold ornaments worth Rs 46,000 hidden under a Neem tree within her house premises.
