Nagpur: A woman who was undergoing sonography test at a Ramdaspeth-based private hospital was robbed of gold-silver jewellery worth Rs 91,500. The theft took place between January 24 and March 8 when the victim woman visited the hospital.
The victim, Madhuri Bhaurao Morey (32) of Babulkheda had gone to Ramdaspeth-based Karmalkar Multi-Speciality Hospital for sonography. Madhuri kept her bag in the drawer of a rack in the sonography room. In the meanwhile, an unidentified burglar opened the drawer by using a duplicate key and laid his hands on gold-silver ornaments worth Rs 91,500 kept in the bag.
Sitabuldi PSI Gavai has booked the burglar under Section 380 of IPC and searching for him.
