Nagpur News: A chain-snatching of worth Rs 1.50 lakh was registered in Dhantoli area on Monday night. According to information, Sushma Sharad Telrandhe (45), a resident of Opposite Vijay Talkies, Telrandhe Bhavan, was coming from Manish Nagar with her husband on their bike (MH 31 CD 357). Near Kruplani turning, Wardha Road, two unidentified mobike borne snatched her magalsutra and a chain worth Rs 1.50 lakh and fled the spot.
On the complaint of Sushma, Dhantoli Police registered an offence of chain-snatching under Sections 392 and 34 of the IPC, PSI Shende. Further investigations are under way.
