Nagpur: The purse of woman who had come to make purchases in Sitabuldi main road was robbed. The purse contained gold jewellery and cash worth Rs 48000/- was stolen. According to police sources, the victim identified as Asha Pawan Shendre aged 33 years and a resident of Gautam Nagar, Bhandara had come to Modi No 2 of Sitabuldi Market along with her sister-in-laws Rinki Besre and Kajal Besre.
Some thief who had probably been keeping a watch on her has robbed her purse containing Gold Jewellery, ATM Card and cash all together worth Rs 48,000/-.
After her purchases, when she was looking into the purse to make the payment, she found the zip of the purse open and all the contents gone.
virtually lost her consciousness when she realized that she has been looted. Asha immediately rushed to Sitabuldi Police Station along with her sisters-in-law and registered a case against unknown bag-lifter/ thief.
