Ganeshpeth police have booked two women on the charges of instigating a 32-year-old woman to end her life. The deceased had been identified as Trupti Nishant Meshram (32), a resident of Bhoipura, near Machchi Market.

Sources said Trupti had consumed a poisonous liquid on October 2 after which her health started deteriorating. Investigations revealed that Trupti had mistakenly spilled water over the rangoli drawn by the accused Leelabai Meshram and Sneha Meshram, both residents of Bhoipura, near Machchi Market. Both the accused women used to harass Trupti over this issue and hurled profanities at her way. Frustrated over the continuous foul language and torture from Leelabai and Sneha, Trupti decided to end her miseries once and for all.
