Nagpur: In an awful incident, a woman abandoned her one and half year old son at Mayo Hospital and fled away. Tahsil cops, on being informed, reached the hospital and took custody of the kid. Currently the child, after a medical check-up, has been sent to an orphanage.
Tehsil police, on August 6, received a call informing them that an 18 month boy has been deserted by an unidentified woman at OPD of Mayo Hospital. Stunned by the incident, cops reached the hospital and took custody of the kid. Later, the child was sent to an orphanage.
The cops, after registering a case against the woman, has mounted a search to trace her.
