In a truly bizarre incident, a woman delivered a child at the gate of Government Medical College. Vandana Kamble from Nandanvan, on Sunday, gave birth to a child in front of the Emergency ward in an auto-rickshaw. Even on informing, none of the doctors came forward with any kind of assistance. Lady security guards rushed for help but none of the doctors or nurses came forward. Due to heavy rush in the Hospital, Vandana’s card could not be made and hence she delivered in the auto-rickshaw. Later the staff who attended Vandana were reported to be novices and had no clue about controlling or handling the situation.
