CM Devendra Fadnavis and Hon. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari dedicated to people a new Omkar Nagar ESR
Nagpur: Good news for the residents of South Nagpur! Over approx. 10,000 residents of Hanuman Nagar zone of South Nagpur will receive regular and pressurized water supply as the newly built Omkar Nagar ESR was dedicated
to public at the hands of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari in presence of Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Hon’ble Mayor Pravin Datke and Hon. Municipal Commissioner Shrawan Hardikar.
This ESR will further enhance the existing supply of especially Hanuman Nagar zone. The supply from this ESR has been started. The areas which will receive water from this ESR include:
Jay Gurudev Nagar, Omkar Nagar, Shree Hari Nagar, Amba Nagar, Chintamani Nagar, Mangaldeep Nagar, Tata Chauk, Shahu Nagar, Narhari Nagar, Chandika Nagar, Awdhut Nagar, Gurukunj Nagar, Shesh Nagar, Akash Nagar, Raghvendra Society New Viraj Nagar, Deep Kamal Layout, Sadbhavna agar, Vinkar Vasahat and surrounding areas.
Present at the inauguration ceremony were MLAs Mr Sudhakar Kohale, Mr Krishna Khopde, Mr Sudhakar Deshmukh, Mr Anil Sole, WSC Chairman Mr Sandeep Joshi, Standing panel chief Mr Ramesh Singare, Ruling party leader Mr Dayashankar Tiwari, OCW CEO Mr Sanjoy Roy, Dy. Director O&M Mr Rajesh Kalra, Spokesperson Mr Sachin Dravekar, Security Officer Mr Prakash Mahajan and Hanuman Nagar Zone Manager Mr Sreekumar Nair. From NESL present were Executive Engineer Mr Sanjay Gaikwad, Mr R D Jadhav, Mr Rajendra Pawar and Mr Sachin Raxamwar.
